THE BRAND
A Hangzhou EV maker with a Stellantis partner.
Leapmotor is an electric-car maker from Hangzhou that develops much of its technology in-house, including electric drive units, battery packs and vehicle electronics. Stellantis, the group behind Peugeot, Fiat and Jeep, holds a minority stake in the company, and the two run Leapmotor International, a Stellantis-led joint venture that handles official sales of Leapmotor cars outside Greater China.
The range is organised by size: the A-series (A10), the B-series (B01 sedan, B10 SUV, Lafa 5 hatch), the C-series (C10, C11, C16) and the D-series flagships (D19 SUV, D99 MPV). Most names carry over abroad, with two exceptions to watch for: the A10 is sold outside China as the B03X and the Lafa 5 as the B05. Both names appear on every line of our quotation, next to the VIN.

BEV or range extender
In a Leapmotor REEV the petrol engine only generates electricity; the wheels are always driven by the electric motor. The car charges from a plug like a BEV and keeps going on petrol when the battery runs low, which suits long routes and markets with few public chargers.
China-market cars, not Leapmotor International stock
Leapmotor International sells its own export versions. What we ship are China-market Leapmotors: left-hand drive, with the charging standard and software language confirmed per model on the quotation, before you pay.
Battery papers on every unit
BEV or REEV, each Leapmotor ships with a battery state-of-health reading plus the UN38.3 test summary and MSDS that carriers require for cars with a traction battery.
Six and seven seats
The C16 comes with five or six seats and the D19 with six or seven, which makes them candidates for family buyers and passenger fleets. The seat layout is stated per VIN on the quotation.

Is Leapmotor owned by Stellantis?
No. Leapmotor is a Chinese company. Stellantis holds a minority stake in it and the majority of Leapmotor International, the joint venture that sells Leapmotor cars outside Greater China. The cars we export are built by Leapmotor for the Chinese market.
Can I buy Leapmotor cars directly from China?
Yes, as a dealer or fleet buyer ordering 10 units or more, whether new, zero-mileage or used. Tongda Motors is an independent exporter and not part of Leapmotor International, Leapmotor's official channel outside China, so check how your market treats parallel imports before you order.
Should I choose the BEV or the REEV version?
Where DC fast charging is reliable, the BEV is the simpler car, with no engine to service. Where chargers are few or distances long, the REEV takes away range worries because it refuels at any petrol station. Tell us your market and how the cars will be used, and we suggest a split.
