Lagos moves more vehicles than any port in West Africa, and Chinese brands are winning ground where price per feature decides the sale — sedans and SUVs for dealer lots, minibuses and vans for commercial operators. Nigeria drives on the right, so China-built left-hand-drive vehicles fit without conversion.

Loading
Vehicles are collected from factories, photographed per VIN and consolidated at Nansha, Shekou or Guangzhou for the West Africa service.

Ocean freight
RoRo sailings for volume, or racked containers when you're mixing models. We book space and issue the bill of lading to Apapa or Tin Can Island.

Arrival & clearance
Transit is typically 30–40 days. Original documents are couriered to you early — in Lagos, having the paperwork ready before berthing saves real money.

What Nigerian buyers should know.
Budget the landed cost, not the FOB price
Nigerian import duty and levies on vehicles are substantial and change with policy. We quote CIF so the China-side number is fixed; work the duty calculation with your clearing agent before ordering, not after.
New and used units
Nigeria admits used vehicles within age limits that are revised periodically. We ship mostly new and zero-mileage stock, and can quote qualifying used units — confirm the current age rule with your agent.
