BYD builds only battery-electric and plug-in hybrid cars; it stopped making pure petrol models in 2022. Its cars use BYD's own Blade LFP battery, and the line-up is split into two families: the Dynasty series (Qin, Song, Yuan, Han, Tang) and the Ocean series (Seagull, Dolphin, Seal, Sea Lion).
Export names often differ from Chinese ones, which confuses first-time buyers. The Yuan Plus is sold abroad as the Atto 3, the Song Plus as the Seal U and the Seagull as the Dolphin Mini. We quote by China-market name and VIN, and state the export equivalent on every line.

China-market or export version
Many BYD models exist in a China-domestic version (GB/T charging, Chinese-language software) and an export version (CCS2 charging, multi-language software). Each quotation states which one you are getting, per model.
DM-i plug-in hybrids
The DM-i hybrids run mostly on electricity in town and on petrol for distance, which suits markets where public charging is still thin. They ship with the same battery health report as the BEVs.
Battery documents
Every BYD unit ships with a battery state-of-health reading plus the UN38.3 test summary and MSDS that carriers require for electric and plug-in hybrid cars.

Can I buy BYD cars directly from China?
Yes, as a dealer or fleet buyer ordering 10 units or more. Tongda Motors sources new, zero-mileage and used BYDs in China and exports them with the full document pack. We are an independent exporter, not a BYD distributor, so check how your market treats parallel imports before ordering.
Do BYD cars from China come with CCS charging?
China-market BYDs use the GB/T charging standard. Many models also exist in export versions with CCS2. We confirm the charging standard per model on the quotation, before you pay.
Which BYD models suit importers best?
Common choices are the Seagull and Dolphin for city fleets, the Yuan Plus (Atto 3) and Song Plus for SUV buyers, and the Qin Plus DM-i where charging is scarce. Tell us your market and we suggest a mix that fits its charging network and import rules.
