THE MAKER
Built in Xi'an, majority-owned by Weichai.
Shacman is the truck brand of Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group, based in Xi'an, which began as the Shaanxi Automobile Works in 1968. Its heavy trucks are made by Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile, owned 51% by engine maker Weichai Power and 49% by the Shaanxi group. That shows in the driveline: most Shacmans run Weichai engines, FAST gearboxes and axles from Hande, a Shaanxi Automobile company, with Cummins engines and Eaton or ZF gearboxes on some versions.
Shacman says it sells in more than 150 countries and regions, with 40 overseas offices, about 400 overseas service stations and local assembly in 19 countries. It shipped 56,000 vehicles abroad in 2023, more than a fifth of China's heavy-truck exports that year. In our buyers' regions, Shacman reports local production in Peru and Mexico, parts warehouses in Nigeria and Zambia, and 52 service stations in the Middle East.

Weichai or Cummins
Every Shacman series lists both Weichai and Cummins engines. Weichai is Shacman's majority shareholder, and Weichai engines are also fitted to many Sinotruk HOWOs.
FAST, Eaton or ZF gearboxes
FAST manual gearboxes are the base choice. The X6000 and X5000 add automated (AMT) gearboxes from FAST, Eaton or ZF; the X3000 and H3000 list FAST and ZF; the F3000 is manual only, with 10 or 12 speeds.
F3000 and H3000 for hard work
Shacman launched the F3000 in 2009 with technology derived from MAN and positions it for engineering projects. The H3000 has a narrow cab for intercity and construction work and at least 560 mm of ground clearance.
Emission level and used trucks
Choose the Euro level your market registers. Used Shacmans built for China since July 2021 meet China VI, largely equivalent to Euro VI, and are designed for 10 ppm-sulphur diesel. Used units are inspected against the VIN, with photos, before you pay. See used trucks from China.

What is the difference between the Shacman X3000, X5000 and X6000?
All three are heavy cab-over trucks sold as tractors, dump trucks and cargo trucks. The X3000 is the established model, with Euro II to Euro V engines from 340 to 560 HP. The X5000 has an upgraded cab and Euro II, V or VI options in the same power range. The X6000 is the flagship: 480 to 600 HP, Euro III to Euro VI, a four-point air-suspended cab and driver-assistance systems.
How much does a Shacman dump truck cost?
It depends on the series, engine, drive, body volume and emission level, and on the port of delivery. Send us the configuration, for example an X3000 8x4 dump truck, CIF Callao, and we reply within 24 hours with a quotation. Export prices are quoted per configuration, volume and destination.
Is there Shacman service in my country?
Shacman reports service stations across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America, a parts warehouse in Nigeria and local production in Peru. Tongda Motors is an independent exporter, not a Shacman dealer, so confirm parts and service with the local Shacman network before a fleet order.
