Tongda Motors is approved by the Chinese authorities to export used vehicles. We supply used Sinotruk HOWO, Shacman, FAW Jiefang, Foton and Dongfeng trucks, each one photographed and inspected against its VIN before you pay. Year, mileage, emission level and registration status are written on the quotation.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
A used truck is quoted as one unit, not as a category.
We do not publish a stock list with prices. Tell us the maker, the series, the oldest year you can import and the port, and we reply with units we can confirm: photos tied to the VIN, the odometer reading, the engine and its emission level, and whether the truck is still registered in China. You approve that quotation before you pay.
The same document pack as a new truck goes with it: commercial invoice, packing list with VINs, bill of lading, certificate of origin, Chinese export declaration and the inspection report. Shipping is RoRo or container, on FOB, CIF or DAP terms.

Photos against the VIN

Model year and odometer reading, so your clearing agent can test them against the age rule before you commit.

Engine and emissions
Engine model and emission level. A truck built for China since July 2021 is China VI, largely equivalent to Euro VI.

Whether the truck is registered in China, and since when, stated on the quotation and the invoice.

Used-truck rules are not the same in every country.
Fuel sulphur
China VI trucks are designed for diesel with no more than 10 ppm of sulphur. If the diesel where the truck will work is higher in sulphur, a used China VI truck can be the wrong buy. Ask us to compare it with a new export build at a lower Euro level, where the maker still lists one.
Nigeria
Nigeria's trade portal covers trucks (HS 8704) on the same page as cars and still states an age of less than 15 years. Since 2022, Customs has in practice applied 12 years from the year of manufacture. Confirm the year of the truck with your clearing agent. See Nigeria.
Chile
Article 21 of Chile's Automotive Statute (Law 18,483) prohibits importing used vehicles, with exceptions such as the free zones. A used truck needs that exception confirmed by your customs broker. New trucks are the straightforward shipment. See Chile.
Peru
Peru prohibits used diesel vehicles in categories L, M and N, except subcategories M3 and N3 (large buses and heavy goods vehicles), under Decreto Supremo 005-2020-MTC. SUNAT states that used vehicles under its minimum quality rules must be no more than two years old, counted from the model year. Confirm the category and the year with your customs broker. See Peru.
Saudi Arabia and the UAE
Both drive on the right, so a China-built left-hand-drive truck needs no conversion. Used-import age and emission rules are set locally; confirm them before you order. See Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Can you export used trucks from China?
Yes. Tongda Motors is approved by the Chinese authorities to export used vehicles. We photograph and inspect each used truck against its VIN before you pay, and we state the year, mileage and registration status on the quotation.
How old a used truck can I import?
It depends on the country, and for trucks it is often not the same rule as for cars. Nigeria is 12 years in practice and 15 on the trade portal. Chile prohibits used vehicles outside limited exceptions. Peru admits used diesel trucks only in category N3, and SUNAT's published age limit for used vehicles is two years from the model year. Tell us the country first; your clearing agent confirms the unit.
Is a used China VI truck the right one for my market?
Only if your diesel is very low in sulphur, about 10 ppm, and your authority accepts China VI or Euro VI. Otherwise ask for a new export-spec truck at the Euro level you register. We state the emission level of every used truck before you pay.
