THE BRAND
Two Honda ventures, two names for many models.
Honda builds cars in China through two joint ventures: GAC Honda in Guangzhou and Dongfeng Honda in Wuhan. Several models are sold by both, each under its own name. The Breeze is GAC Honda's version of the CR-V and the Integra is its Civic-based sedan and hatchback, while Dongfeng Honda answers GAC Honda's Accord with the Inspire and its Odyssey minivan with the Elysion.
Honda's e:HEV is a self-charging hybrid in which the petrol engine mostly generates electricity and an electric motor drives the wheels, so the car refuels like any petrol model. It is offered on the Civic, Accord, CR-V and Odyssey families. For buyers moving to electric, the ventures also build EVs sold only in China, including the e:NS2 compact SUV and the P7 and S7 mid-size SUVs.

China-market names and specification
China-built Hondas are China-market cars. Besides the twin names, engines, trims and infotainment can differ from the Honda sold in your market, and the P7 and S7 are sold only in China. The quotation states the exact version per VIN.
Left-hand drive and homologation
Every China-market Honda is left-hand drive and meets China 6 emissions, broadly aligned with Euro 6. Check homologation for each model in your market, with your customs broker or vehicle authority, before you commit to an order.
Factory warranty outside China
Honda's factory warranty is not guaranteed to apply to a China-built car in another country. Confirm with Honda's representative in your market how these cars are treated before ordering, and price your own after-sales support accordingly.
Hybrid and EV batteries
e:HEV hybrids and the electric models ship with a battery state-of-health reading; the EVs also carry the UN38.3 test summary and MSDS that carriers require. For EVs, the charging standard and software language are confirmed on the quotation.

Honda questions, answered.
Can I buy Honda cars directly from China?
Yes, if you order 10 units or more as a dealer or fleet. Tongda Motors sources new, zero-mileage and used Hondas built in China and exports them with the commercial invoice, packing list with VINs, bill of lading, certificate of origin, export declaration and inspection report. We are an independent exporter, not affiliated with Honda, GAC Honda or Dongfeng Honda, so check how your market treats parallel imports first.
Is the Honda Breeze the same as the CR-V?
The Breeze is GAC Honda's version of the CR-V, with its own styling; Dongfeng Honda sells its version under the CR-V name. Both are China-market cars, so whichever name you order, we list the engine, trim and software language per VIN on the quotation.
Do Honda e:HEV hybrids need charging?
No. The e:HEV battery is charged by the petrol engine and by braking, so the car simply refuels at a petrol station. That makes the Civic, Accord, CR-V and Odyssey e:HEV practical where public charging is scarce. Only the electric models, such as the e:NS2, P7 and S7, need a charger; see electric cars from China.
