Beijing Benz and the L badge.
Beijing Benz Automotive (BBAC) is the joint venture between BAIC Motor, which holds 51%, and Mercedes-Benz, with its plants in Beijing. It builds the C-Class, E-Class and GLC in long-wheelbase L form, the compact GLA and GLB, the EQA, EQB and EQE SUV electric models, and the new long-wheelbase electric GLC.
In China the C-Class, E-Class and GLC are sold with a longer wheelbase than in Europe and an L after the model number, as in C 260 L or E 300 L. The extra length goes to the rear seats, and equipment and software are set for China, so these cars differ from the versions homologated in most export markets. We list options per VIN, not by trim name.

L models and homologation
The L versions are China-market cars: longer, left-hand drive, China 6 emissions (broadly aligned with Euro 6) and Chinese-market software, with the software language confirmed on the quotation. Homologation must be checked for the exact version in your market, not just the model name.
Condition documented per VIN
Every Mercedes-Benz we ship, new or used, is photographed and inspected against its VIN before you pay, with the odometer reading and condition notes. Zero-mileage units are registered in China but never driven, so check whether your market treats them as new or used.
EQ electric models
EQ models and the electric GLC L ship with a battery state-of-health reading plus the UN38.3 test summary and MSDS. China-market cars are built for the GB/T charging network, and we confirm the charging standard per model on the quotation. See electric cars from China.

Can I buy Mercedes-Benz cars directly from China?
Yes, as a dealer or fleet buyer ordering 10 units or more. Tongda Motors sources new, zero-mileage and used China-built Mercedes-Benz cars and ships them FOB, CIF or DAP with the full document pack. We are an independent exporter, not affiliated with Mercedes-Benz, BAIC or Beijing Benz, so check how your market treats parallel imports before ordering.
Will a China-built Mercedes-Benz keep its factory warranty in my market?
That is not guaranteed. Factory warranty coverage outside China must be confirmed for your market before you order, and you should plan servicing on the assumption that it may not apply. We state the build details and options per VIN so your workshop knows exactly which version it is dealing with.
Do you supply zero-mileage and used Mercedes-Benz?
Yes. Tongda is approved by the Chinese authorities to export used vehicles, and we supply zero-mileage and low-mileage used units of the China-built range, from the C-Class L to the EQE SUV, each inspected per VIN before you pay.
